Hall of Famer Jerry Sloan spent 11 seasons in the NBA where he averaged 14 points per game. The small forward/shooting guard spent 10 of those seasons with the Chicago Bulls, where he appeared in two All-Star games. Sloan, of course, would go on to an equally impressive coaching career with the Utah Jazz. Sloan was the first Chicago Bulls player to have his number (4) retired. He won over 1,200 NBA games as a head coach. He holds the NBA record for most wins with the same franchise and has the longest head coaching tenure with the same team in League history.
Offered in this lot is 6 milestone basketballs from his coaching career. The first item 2006 game ball presented to Sloan for his 1000th career win on 12/11/06 that is signed by the Utah Jazz team with 20 signatures in black marker. Next, in this lot is a 2006 game ball presented to Sloan for his 900th Jazz Career Win on 11/20/06 that is also Utah Jazz team signed with 20 signatures in black marker. The ball includes 20 signatures in black marker. A 2004 game ball presented to Sloan for his 900th career win as an NBA coach from 2/7/04. A 2001 game ball presented to Sloan for his 800th coaching victory on 12/29/01. Then a 2000 game ball presented to Sloan on his 700th career win on 1/15/2000. Lastly, a Jerry Sloan signed and inscribed “H.O.F. ‘09” in gold pen on a Naismith Hall of Fame basketball. This lot comes with a JSA Auction LOA.
