Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was named Sports Illustrated’s 1985 Sportsman of the Year after leading the Los Angeles Lakers to the 1985 NBA title. Kareem, the Finals MVP, scored 25.7 points per game in the Lakers six game defeat of the hated Boston Celtics for the NBA crown. He added 9 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest for Pat Riley’s men. Offered here are six issues of Sports Illustrated from the week of December 23rd-30th, 1985 with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the cover. Kareem has signed each SI, signing four in blue marker, one in silver marker, and one in black marker. These magazines come with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
