Pound for Pound one of the greatest fighters of all time, Sugar Ray Leonard spent 20 years captivating and thrilling boxing fans with his thunderous punches and quick footwork. Compiling a record of 36 wins and 3 losses, Sugar Ray competed in the golden age of welterweight boxing as part of the Fabulous Four (Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, and Marvelous Marvin Hagler). Leonard contested two of the most famous fights of all-time, 1981 and 1989 bouts against Thomas “Hitman” Hearns, another formidable welterweight of that era. A gold medalist at the 1976 Montreal Olympic games, Leonard held championship belts at welterweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight weight classes.
Offered here are three robes and three sets of trunks autographed by Sugar Ray Leonard. The robes are white satin with blue and red trim. The back of the robes feature the text “Sugar Ray Leonard” in bold black letters, with Sugar Ray’s signature in black Sharpie in the space between the letters. The trunks are white satin, with red trim and a red belt. “Sugar” is stitched in white text to the front of the belt, and Leonard’s signature is on the front of the shorts.
