Presented is a lot of 80 photographs of various sizes, signed by former heavyweight boxing champion “Smokin’ Joe” Frazier. This lot comes with a LOA from his business manager, Leslie Wolff. The first item in this lot is an 8¼ x 11¾ -inch white cardstock publicity handout with six black and white photographs of Frazier’s March 8, 1971 title defense against Muhammad Ali, “The Fight of the Century” at Madison Square Garden. Frazier has signed his name on five of the six photos – three in silver marker, two in black marker. The second item in this lot is an 8 x 12-inch color photograph of Frazier, in a black suit with red shirt, posed with his business manager, Leslie Wolff, who is in a black pinstriped suit and hat. Frazier has inscribed “Smokin Joe Frazier” in silver marker in the lower left corner of the photo. The third item in this lot is an 8 x 10-inch color photograph of Frazier, in black suit and black hat, posed with his business manager, Leslie Wolff, who is also in a black suit and black hat. Frazier has inscribed “My Man Smokin Joe Frazier” in black marker in the upper left corner of the photograph.

The fourth item in this lot is a Frazier signature on an 11 x 14-inch color illustration photo reproduction of Frazier, in green trunks, fighting Ali, in red trunks with an orange background. Frazier has signed “Joe Frazier” in silver marker in the lower left corner below his figure. The fifth item in this lot is a 11 x 14-inch black & white photograph of Frazier in a recording studio wearing headphones and holding sheet music with a microphone over his head. Frazier has signed his name in blue marker in the lower center of the photograph. The sixth item in this lot is a 11 x 14-inch color photograph of Frazier posed in a room in his early 1970s form, in red boxing trunks, white boxing shoes and black boxing gloves. Frazier has inscribed “To Same Smokin’ Joe Frazier” in black marker in the lower right corner of the photograph. The seventh item in this lot is a group of 11 Joe Frazier signed black & white 8 x 10-inch publicity photos of “Smokin Joe Frazier” in his boxing stance against a neutral background. Frazier has signed his name on all 11 photographs in black marker.

The eighth item in this lot is Joe Frazier signed and inscribed black & white 8 x 10-inch publicity photo labelled “Smokin Joe Frazier”. Frazier has inscribed, “To Roy Joe Frazier” in black marker in the left corner of the photo. The ninth item in this lot is Joe Frazier signed and inscribed black & white 8 x 10-inch publicity photo labelled “Smokin Joe Frazier”. Frazier has inscribed, “To Mike Joe Frazier” in black marker in the left corner of the photo. The 10th item in this lot is a group of three signed 8 x 10-inch color publicity photos of “Smokin’ Joe Frazier,” each of which he has signed in black marker in the left corner. Frazier is depicted in a gray suit and multi-colored tie with his WBC championship belt draped over his left shoulder. The 11th item in this lot is a group of six signed 8 x 10-inch black & white publicity photos of Frazier, each of which he has signed in black marker in the upper left corner. The photo depicts Frazier posed wearing his Everlast boxing gloves against a neutral background and bears the caption “From the Lens of George Kalinsky” in the lower left corner. The 12th item in this lot is a group of 10 signed 8 x 10-inch color publicity photos of Frazier in a black suit with a blue boxing ring post in the background against a light blue backdrop, with red boxing gloves draped over his left shoulder. Frazier has signed each of the 10 photos in black marker on the red boxing gloves.

The 13th item in this lot is a Joe Frazier signed and inscribed 8 x 10-inch color publicity photo of the former heavyweight champ in a black suit with a blue boxing ring post in the background against a light blue backdrop, with red boxing gloves draped over his left shoulder. Frazier has inscribed “To Kelly Joe Frazier” in black marker on the red boxing gloves. The 14th item in this lot is a Joe Frazier signature, in black marker, on a 8 x 10-inch color publicity photo of the former heavy weight champion in a black suit with a blue boxing ring post in the background against a light blue backdrop, with red boxing gloves draped over his left shoulder. The photo is captioned across the bottom, “Smokin’ Joe Frazier” and gives the phone and FAX numbers and URL of Joe Frazier’s gym. The 15th item in this lot is a Joe Frazier signature and inscription on an 8 x 10-inch color photograph of Frazier in a brown suit with a brown hat and blue striped shirt.  He has inscribed “To Greg Right on Joe Frazier” in black marker in the lower left corner of the photograph. The 16th item in this lot is a group of 32 black & white 8 x 10-inch publicity photographs of “Smokin’ Joe Frazier and Son Derek.” Frazier has signed his name in the upper right corner of 31 of the 32 photographs and inscribed his son’s name “Dennis” above his signature. The photos depict him posed with his then-toddler son, who was christened “Derek Dennis Frazier” when he was born in 1992.

              The 17th item in this lot is a Joe Frazier signed and inscribed color 8 x 10-inch publicity photo of the former heavyweight champ in a tuxedo, posed with his toddler son, Derek in a tuxedo shirt and plaid cummerbund and bow tie. The father and son are posed against a light blue backdrop. Frazier has inscribed “Dennis & Joe Frazier” in gold marker at the bottom of the photo.  The 18th item in this lot is a group of four black & white publicity photographs of “Smokin’ Joe Frazier and Son Derek.” Frazier has signed his name in gold marker at the lower left and inscribed “Dennis” in gold marker in the lower right. The 19th item in this lot is a Joe Frazier signature, in black marker, on an 8 x 10-inch black & white photograph of the former heavyweight champion posed with a boxing glove on his left hand.  Frazier has signed his name over his left shoulder in the photograph. This entire lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
