Presented in this lot are eight signed memorabilia from Baltimore Orioles’ legends. The items included are two signed Jim Palmer baseball cards, five signed Eddie Murray baseball cards, and one Brooks Robinson signed baseball.  Robinson, the National Baseball Hall of Fame third baseman from the Baltimore Orioles, has signed the Wilson baseball on the sweet spot blue ballpoint pen.  He played his entire 23-year major league career for the Baltimore Orioles (1955–1977), which still stands as the record for the longest career spent with a single team in MLB history. Nicknamed "The Human Vacuum Cleaner" or "Mr. Hoover", he is considered one of the greatest defensive third basemen in major league history.  Robinson won 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards during his career, tied with pitcher Jim Kaat for the second-most all-time for any player at any position. The baseball comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15976).

His teammate with the Orioles, Hall of Fame right-handed pitcher Jim Palmer, has signed his 1982 Fleer Baseball card with blue marker across the front, and has also signed his 1979 Topps Baseball card with black ink in the center of his image.  Palmer played all of his 19 years in the majors with the Orioles (1965–67, 1969–84) and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1990. Palmer was the winning pitcher in 186 games in the 1970s, the most wins in that decade by any MLB pitcher. He also won at least 20 games in each of eight seasons and received three Cy Young Awards and four Gold Gloves during the decade. His 268 career victories are still the Orioles record.

Hall of Fame first baseman Eddie Murray has signed five of his baseball cards.  He signed his 1979 Topps Baseball card in blue ballpoint pen over his photo, and also signed his 1980 Topps Baseball card in blue ballpoint over his photo.  Murray also used blue ballpoint pen to sign his 1981 Topps Baseball card, his 1981 Donruss card, and his 1981 Fleer card.  The eight-time MLB All-Star retired with the most RBI (1,917) among switch hitters all-time and holds the career records for most sacrifice flies (128) and most assists by a first baseman (1,865).  Murray is one of only five players to have both 3,000 career hits and 500 home runs (others are Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Alex Rodriguez and Rafael Palmeiro).  He hit 19 grand slams, fourth all-time, behind Alex Rodriguez's 25, Lou Gehrig’s 23, and Manny Ramírez's 21.  He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003.

Lot of (8) Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famers Signed Memorabilia Including Eddie Murray Cards, Jim Palmer Cards & Brooks Robinson Baseball (Beckett)
