Offered in this lot are nine game used bats from members of the 1969 World Champion New York Mets. The first bat in this collection is Jim Hickman’s Hillerich & Bradsby T115 model bat has been dated to the 1969-1972 seasons shows heavy game use and is un-cracked. His bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B08173) and has been graded a GU 7. The next bat in this lot is a Louisville Slugger K100 model bat used by Tug McGraw. This bat shows moderate use and is un-cracked. The next bat in this lot is Jim Gosger’s Adirondack 89B model bat that shows heavy use and has a crack on the handle that has been covered in white tape. Gosger’s number “21” has been hand written in black marker on the knob along with the model number “89B” being stamped.

The next bat is Rod Gaspar’s Hillerich & Bradsby M110 model bat that shows light use with the number “17” hand written on the knob in black marker and is un-cracked. Gaspar signed his name in black marker on the barrel. The next bat is an Adirondack M63 model bat used by Ken Boswell. This bat displays heavy use and has a crack on the handle and Boswell’s number “17” is hand written on the knob and the model number “M63” is stamped on the knob. Boswell signed his name in black marker on the barrel.

The next game used bat is from Wayne Garrett. Garrett’s Hillerich & Bradsby F141 model bat shows light use and is un-cracked. Garrett’s number “11” is hand written in black marker on the knob and Garrett signed his name in black marker on the barrel. The next game used bat in this lot is Duffy Dyer’s Hillerich & Bradsby M110 model bat. This un-cracked bat shows light use with some checking or grain swelling on the barrel with Dyer’s number “5” hand written in black. The number “5” is written over the same number “5” that was originally in red making the number “54”. Dyer signed his name in black marker on the barrel.

The next game used bat is the Adirondack 309D model bat used by J.C. Martin. This bat shows moderate use with cracks on the barrel. The model number “309 D” has been stamped on the knob and Martin signed his name in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “Best Wishes”. The final bat in this lot is the game use bat of Al Weis. This Hillerich & Bradsby C12 model bat shows heavy use with cracks on the handle and lower barrel that has white tape covering the cracks on the upper handle. The model number “C12” is stamped on the knob and Weis signed his name in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “Best Wishes” and “#6”. All of the bats, with the exception of the Jim Hickman bat have been pre-certified by PSA/DNA for the game use. The six bats that have been signed have been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
