Offered in this lot are nine game used bats. The first bat was used by Ben Oglivie during the 1983-86 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby C243 model bat displays heavy game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and cleat imprints present on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11906). The second bat in this lot was used by Rusty Staub during the 1976-79 seasons. Staub’s Adirondack 265B model bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, green bat rack streaks and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. There is a coating of pine tar on the handle the number “25” (another player) is hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14945). The third bat in this lot was used by Cesar Tovar during the 1965-68 seasons. Tovar’s Hillerich & Bradsby D2 model bat displays excellent game use and has a crack on the handle. There is checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the back barrel and a piece missing from the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12819).

The next bat was used by Jim Hickman during the 1969-72 seasons. Hickman’s Hillerich & Bradsby T115 model bat displays moderate to heavy game use and is un-cracked.  There are several ball marks on the barrel, along with black bat rack streaks. The model number “T115” has been stamped on the knob and this bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B08173) and has been graded a GU 7. The next bat was used by Bill Melton during the 1965-68 seasons. Melton’s Hillerich & Bradsby S2 model bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and green bat rack streaks present on the barrel. There is a coating of pine tar on the handle and Melton’s number “14” has been hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14941). The next bat is a Hillerich & Bradsby K55 model bat used by Bob Aspromonte during the 1965-68 seasons. This bat displays heavy game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks and cleat imprints present on the barrel and a light coating of pine tar is on the handle. The model number “K55” is stamped on the knob and this bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15356).

The seventh bat in this lot was used by Dave Kingman during the 1977-79 seasons. Kingman’s Hillerich & Bradsby S2 model bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and red bat rack streaks present on the barrel and a light coating of pine tar on the handle. Kingman signed this bat in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “To Andy Best Wishes”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11500) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from JSA (Z87945) for the signature. The eighth bat in this lot was used by Felix Millan during the 1974-77 seasons. Millan’s Adirondack 129A model bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, red and green bat rack streaks and evidence of a weighted donut present on the barrel. Millan’s number “17” is hand written in blue marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15355) and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9. The final bat in this lot was used by Lee May during the 1972-74 seasons. This Adirondack 170A model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present on the barrel. May’s number “23” is hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13238) and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
