College Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz spent 11 seasons as the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football team. Holtz first took the helm of the struggling Notre Dame squad in 1986, and as usual, turned the program around, winning a National Title with the Irish in 1988. Holtz would finish his tenure with Notre Dame with a record of 100-30-2.

Presented here is a Notre Dame chair used by Lou Holtz to watch game film during his tenure with the Fighting Irish. One can picture a focused Holtz sitting in the chair, picking apart the offense and defenses of opposing teams in a dimly lit film room. The chair features a circular interlocking "ND" logo in navy on a gold leather background. The blue chair features wood arm caps on the armrests, five wheels connected to a metal base, and controls located on the inside of the right armrest. The chair displays heavy evidence of use and contains stains on the seat cushion, a tear and cracking on the right armrest, and stains across multiple portions on the chair. This comes with a LOA from Lou Holtz and 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this item will benefit the Holtz Charitable Foundation, Inc. Please note that due to the size and weight of this item, shipping costs will be higher.
