Former slugger Mark McGwire hit his 250th career home run during the June 5th, 1994 game between the Oakland A’s and New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. McGwire’s seventh-inning home run off Yankees’ pitcher Scott Bankhead was his 12th of the season. McGwire hit this offered Official American League Gene A. Budig baseball for his career-milestone home run 250 during that June 5th game. This ball displays excellent game use with rubbed dirt and abrasions present. This ball comes with a LOA from the St. Louis Cardinals’ signed by Barry Weinberg, who states in the LOA that he was the head athletic trainer for the Oakland A’s from 1982-1997 and that this ball was acquired during his time with the A’s.
