Pop music’s greatest superstar, Michael Jackson, wore and signed this black fedora. The iconic entertainer frequently wore a black or white hat, the brim pulled low over his eyes. Jackson wore a white fedora during the “Smooth Criminal” music video, arguably one of his most groundbreaking and poetic performances. The legendary dancer and singer made the best-selling album of all-time, Thriller, in a career that spanned from 1964 until his premature death in 2009.
This fedora is black and made of 100% wool. A black ribbon runs around the crown of this elegant hat. “MICHAEL JACKSON” is printed in gold on the inside of the hat, which also features a “Large / 100% Wool / Made in U.S.A.” flag. Jackson has signed the brim of this fedora in silver marker. This fedora comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A89888) for Jackson’s signature and a LOA from MJJ Productions for the provenance.
