The “King of Pop” Michael Jackson is immortalized in this lithograph/serigraph by the Australian artist Brett-Livingstone Strong titled “The Book”. Jackson is shown in Renaissance-era garb, seated in an opulent room. A book is resting on his legs, and his expression is one of serene grace. Allegedly, this is the only portrait Jackson ever sat for due to his friendship with Strong. This artwork measures approximately 24 x 30 inches, and it comes in a 34 x 43 inch framed display.
Jackson has signed the bottom border of this lithograph in what appears to be gray pencil. Strong has signed the lithograph as well, using the same type of writing utensil. Please note that the border of the frame displays some minor weathering, however this does not detract from the abundant quality of this fantastic piece. This lithograph/serigraph is an Artist’s Proof 3/5, and it is accompanied by a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A74383).
