Michael Jackson has a personal style and flair for fashion that few have duplicated. The singer, songwriter, dancer and performer captivated the entertainment world and his fans from his youth to his death at the age of 50. Clothes were a major element of Jackson’s persona, and during the 1970s and 1980s, Jackson performed around the world and made numerous public appearances.

Offered is an example from the personal wardrobe of the “King of Pop,” a yellow formal shirt with a ruffled front and sleeves. The After Six formal wear shirt is a polyester/cotton blend and features a ruffled front with black edges and gold stone studs in each ruffled fold. The long-sleeve shirt French cuffs also have ruffled black edges. This shirt was worn to a birthday party event according to Jackson's manager Frank Cascio and still has cover up on the inside color of the front of the collar as well as a few spots on the shirt. One characteristic of this shirt often found on Michael's shirts are the abnormally long arm length in comparison with the mid-section. This item comes with a LOA from Jackson’s manager.
