A performer since the age of five, Michael Jackson is one of the most popular singers in history. His 1983 album, Thriller, sold 40 million copies, making it the biggest seller of all time. Through his record albums and music videos he created an image imitated by his millions of fans.
Presented is a red Jill Sander windbreaker jacket from Jackson’s personal wardrobe. The red cloth jacket front has a white metal zipper with a navy-blue stripe in the center, and button clasp at the neck. The back of the jacket is navy-blue cloth. During the last three years of his life, leading up to the “This is It” tour that was cancelled due to his death at age 50, Jackson worked with Serbian fashion designer and stylist Rushka Bergman, who was a designer for the Jill Sander fashion house. This item comes with a LOA from Jackson’s manager.
