In a career full of iconic moments, Michael Jordan’s free throw line dunk in the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest might be the most iconic of them all. Starting from the opposite end of the floor, MJ took off from the free throw line to hammer down his incredible dunk. He seemed to hang in the air for an eternity, his picturesque Air Jordan III sneakers creating a brilliant white trail behind him. This was as close to perfect as a dunk can be, and it cemented Jordan’s victory against a bitterly disappointed Dominique Wilkins.
Jordan signed this photograph in silver marker, his signature occupying the seemingly infinite space between Jordan’s body and the faraway hoop. This 16x20 inch photograph is encased in a 28x25 inch frame and comes with a COA from Steiner Sports (11824).
