Beninati, a Chicago native, used dark green hues and black to highlight Jordan as he stands at the foul line in seeming contemplation while wearing his signature Chicago Bulls uniform. The lithograph is a lifelike rendering of the six-time NBA champion and 5-time NBA MVP. It is so richly detailed that the muscles on Jordan’s arms and the light shining upon his shoulders give the piece a sense of realism not often achieved via lithograph.
