Presented is a Mickey Mantle signed cut, on a 3 x 5-inch orange cut paper card. The Baseball Hall of Fame outfielder has signed his name in blue pen diagonally from left to right on the cut. Mantle played his entire career (1951 to 1968) with the New York Yankees, primarily in center field. The Oklahoma native led the American League in home runs for four seasons (1955–56, 1958, and 1960). He led the league six times in runs scored (1954, 1956–58, 1960–61) and in runs batted in (RBIs) in 1956, the year he won the league Triple Crown for home runs, RBIs, and batting average (.353). Mantle played in 12 World Series (1951–53, 1955–58, 1960–64), helping the Yankees win seven championships (1951-53, 1956, 1958, 1961-61). He hit a record 18 home runs in the World Series. Mantle was voted the American League’s Most Valuable Player in 1956, 1957, and 1962. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad at Beckett Authentication (A52492).
