Offered is a Mickey Mantle signature and inscription on a Cooperstown Bat Co. Hall of Fame stamped bat. The three-time American League Most Valuable Player has signed his name in blue marker on the barrel of the bat, and inscribed “No. 7” below his signature. The greatest switch-hitter in the history of Major League Baseball, Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956, when he led the Major Leagues in batting average (.353), home runs (52), and RBI’s (130). He was the American League MVP three times (1956, 1957, 1962). Mantle appeared in 12 World Series including seven championships, and he holds World Series records for the most home runs (18), RBIs (40), extra-base hits (26), runs (42), walks (43), and total bases (123).
