Baseball legend and Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle played in 12 World Series throughout his storied career with the New York Yankees, hitting a total of 18 World Series home runs. Mantle was so consistent, he homered in all but three of these Series (1951, 1961 and 1962), and with the 1962 Series being the only Fall Classic he didn’t homer in which he played in all the games. Presented here is a collection of 16 tickets from all of Mantle’s World Series home run games. These 16 tickets have been matted and framed to a dimension of 25 ½ x 28 inches.

This collection of tickets are in order starting clockwise from the upper left corner and include: 1952 World Series: Game 6 and Game 7; 1953 World Series: Game 2 and Game 5; 1955 World Series: Game 3; 1956 World Series: Game 1, Game 4 and Game 5 – also Don Larsen’s Perfect Game!; 1957 World Series: Game 3; 1958 World Series: Game 2 – two HRs!; 1960 World Series: Game 2 - two HRs! (two tickets from that game 2), Game 3; 1963 World Series: Game 4 – Koufax Wins!; 1964 World Series: Game 3 – Passes Babe Ruth’s World Series home run record!, Game 6 and Game 7 – Last Mantle WS Game! To cap of this exquisite display, an 11 x 14-inch black and white photograph of a rookie Mantle in his home white Yankees uniform with the 1951 American League 50th Anniversary patch clearly visible on his left sleeve and on one knee leaning on a bat. Mantle has signed this photograph in bold black marker and inscribed “18 W.S. HR’s”. This signed photograph comes with a LOA from JSA. This collection is quite an undertaking and represents one aspect of collecting where the complete set might be more valuable than the sum of its parts. Tickets are in good overall condition.
