Minnesota Twins ace Frank Viola wore this blue Twins batting practice jersey during the mid-1980’s. Viola played eight seasons for the Twins, making his MLB debut with the ballclub in 1982. He won 112 games in his Twins career, including an MLB-best 24 during his Cy Young season of 1988. Viola was a key part of the Twins 1987 World Series title, earning the World Series MVP honors after winning the clinching seventh game for Minnesota. This blue mesh pullover batting practice jersey has “TWINS” sewn on the chest in white and red tackle twill. Viola’s number “16” is sewn on the back of the jersey in white and red tackle twill. This batting practice jersey shows moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
