NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo notched a triple-double against the Portland Trail Blazers on December 7th, 2016 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Antetokounmpo scored 15 points, and added 12 rebounds, 11 assists, four blocks, and two steals in an all-around fantastic performance. The Bucks claimed a 115-107 victory, with Jabari Parker scoring 27 points to lead Milwaukee. Antetokounmpo, the 2018-19 NBA MVP, won the 2016-17 Most Improved Player award after scoring 22.9 points per game with 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.9 blocks for the 42-40, playoff-bound Bucks.
Offered in this lot is a basketball used during the Bucks and Blazers game on December 7th. The basketball has “Bucks 2016-17” applied to the sphere, while “ICE” is handwritten on the basketball in black marker. The basketball comes with a Bucks/Fanatics COA (AA0004826) and a LOA from Resolution Photomatching that photo matches the jersey to the December 7th game.
