These four men have signed this 3 x 5-inch white index card, with blue lines, not less! – with their signatures, under an inscription that reads “To Seth, Best Wishes from Monty Python and” in blue pen. And now, for something different, the signatures of Jones, Chapman and Cleese are in blue pen, while the signature of the far superior Michael Palin – the proprietor of a pet shop, cheese shop, and the one-and-only Sir Galahad the Pure – has signed in blue marker.

Despite the absence of fellow “Pythons” Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle, this signed cut captures the spirit of the surreal British comedy troupe, the creators of the sketch comedy TV show, “Monty Python’s Flying Circus,” which first aired on the BBC in 1969. The Python phenomenon developed from the television series into something larger in scope and impact, including touring stage shows, films, numerous albums, several books, and musicals.
