The series of three fights between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier provided the American people with one of the most exciting, tense, and brutal displays of boxing the world had ever seen. The first fight, a unanimous decision for Frazier, was Ali’s first professional loss. Their next two fights, Ali-Frazier II and the Thrilla in Manila, went in Ali’s favor.
This picture is from a pre-fight interview from Ali-Frazier II, which took place at Madison Square Garden in 1974. Ali, as was his custom, is speaking to the interviewer while Frazier looks on. This black and white photo is 16 x 20 inches and signed by Ali. Ali wrote his signature in silver Sharpie. This photo comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (4A02821).
