In 1960, long before Muhammad Ali made his indelible impact on American sports, politics, and culture, he was a fresh faced boxer for the United States Olympic squad in the 1960 Rome Olympics. The 18-year-old Ali swept through the tournament, en route to the gold medal in the light heavyweight division.
This picture shows Ali receiving his medal, and standing next to Zbigniew Pietrzykowski, Giulio Saraudi, and Anthony Madigan. He signed the 13 x 11 inch photograph in black marker. This picture comes in a 22 x 19 inch frame. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (W00250), who have graded his autograph a 9.
