Featured is a replica WBA Championship belt autographed by the late Muhammad Ali. One of the most polarizing figures in boxing history, Muhammad Ali captured the hearts of many during his reign over the heavyweight division in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Ali would get his first taste of championship gold after he won the WBC belt from rival Sonny Liston. Ali however, would earn this WBA Championship belt after he defeated Ernie Terrell on Feb 6, 1967. This belt is autographed by Ali in silver ink over the left crest. The belt is in good condition, with some wrinkles being noticeable on the bottom. This belt comes encased in a wooden display that measures 25 ½ x 16 inches. This item has been authenticated by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and comes with a LOA (A03301).
