Jackie Robinson 70th anniversary auction to benefit JRF ending April 29

The first fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier was so highly anticipated that it was christened “The Fight of the Century.” It did not disappoint its pre-fight billing, with the two undefeated heavyweights battering each other for 15 rounds of brutal punching. In a unanimous decision, Smokin’ Joe was awarded the victory, retaining his heavyweight title belt. Ali would have the last laugh, however, winning their final two fights.
This photograph shows Ali exhibiting the unparalleled agility that made him the greatest boxer of all-time. He is dipping away from a Frazier left, his legs extending in almost a full split. The crowd behind them almost seems to disappear, with Frazier and Ali demanding all of the eye’s attention. Ali signed this black and white 20 x 24 inch photograph in black marker. This autograph comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (3A40034), who have graded Ali’s signature a perfect GEM MT 10.
