Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer of all time, is immortalized in this limited edition artwork that shows characters from the Looney Toons in the ring with the “Louisville Lip” after his knockout of Sonny Liston in Ali-Liston II. Beloved characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety, Roadrunner and Elmer Fudd all appear in various roles surrounding Liston and Ali. Four yellow stars encircle the fallen Liston’s head as he lays on the white canvas of the ring. Ali has signed this limited edition 647 of 750 artwork, signing his name in blue marker on the bottom border of the piece. This item comes in a 34 x 29 inch framed display and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA (Z62857). Please note that this lot has a 25% Buyer’s Premium. Goldin Auctions will be donating 10% of the winning bid price to The Jackie Robinson Foundation.
