Presented is a photograph of the promotional pictures taken for the bout between Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier. Perhaps one of the greatest rivalries in boxing history, Ali and Frazier would meet in three separate encounters. In their first bout, both Ali and Frazier stepped into the ring with spotless, undefeated records, with only one man able to leave undefeated. In a surprise to many, Frazier would upset Ali and hand him his first loss on March 8, 1971. Ali would however have his revenge as the two men would have a rematch that saw Ali emerge as the victor. The pair would meet a final time in “The Thrilla in Manila”, that would see Ali emerge victorious yet again, and close the chapter between the two.

This photograph is in full color and features both Ali and Frazier facing off. Both men have autographed this piece in bold blue and has been both matted and framed standing 25 ½ x 21 ½ inches. This item has been authenticated by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and comes with a LOA (A04472).
