Featured here is a Louisville Slugger 2009 World Series commemorative bat signed by each member the legendary New York Yankees’ “Core Four”. A powerhouse of a team, the Yankees are the most dominant franchise in American sports. The Yankees have won 19 division titles, 40 AL pennants, and an unprecedented 27 World Series. Their massive success can be attributed to their eye for talent. Their surge in the late 90’s saw them win an impressive four World Series in five seasons. Their recent dominance was made possible by their “Core Four” of Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, and Mariano Rivera. Rivera and Jeter, the most recent members of the Hall of Fame, along with Posada and Pettitte, have signed their names in blue marker on the barrel. Jeter and Posada’s signatures are to the right of the Louisville Slugger stamp, Pettitte’s signature is above the “WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP New York Yankees” stamp and Rivera’s signatures is above the Yankees’ logo and World Series trophies’ stamps. The bat also lists the Yankees’ 27 World Series Championship years and the scores from the 2009 World Series. This comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH813392) and a COA from Steiner Sports.
