Offered is a Joe DiMaggio photo baseball with the signatures of four New York Yankees Hall of Famers – Joe DiMaggio, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra and Phil Rizzuto.  DiMaggio has signed his name in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot.  To the left of DiMaggio’s signature, Berra has signed his name in blue ballpoint pen, while Ford has signed his name below Berra, also in blue ballpoint pen.  Rizzuto has signed his name to the right of DiMaggio’s signature, in blue ballpoint pen. The white Rawlings baseball with red stitches has a color image of DiMaggio in his Yankees cap and home uniform on the left panel, and the inscription “126/300” in blue pen beneath the image.  On the left panel is the legend, stamped in black ink, “JOE DiMAGGIO Heralded as one of the greatest baseball players of all-time.  He led the Yankees to nine World Series victories in 13 years and hit safely for fifty-six consecutive games in 1941.  DiMaggio was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1955.”

Ford, a righthanded pitcher, played his entire 16-year Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees, and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.  He is a 10-time MLB All-Star and six-time World Series champion. In 1961 Ford won both the Cy Young Award and World Series Most Valuable Player Award. He led the American League in wins three times and in earned run average twice. Berra played 19 seasons, all but the last for the Yankees. He was an 18-time All-Star and won 10 World Series championships as a player—more than any other player in MLB history. Berra had a career batting average of .285, while hitting 358 home runs and 1,430 runs batted in. He is one of only five players to win the American League MVP three times. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest catchers in baseball history and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. Rizzuto spent his entire 13-year baseball career with the Yankees and was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994. A popular figure on a team dynasty that captured 10 AL titles and seven World Championships in his 13 seasons, Rizzuto holds numerous World Series records for shortstops. His best statistical season was 1950, when he was named the American League's Most Valuable Player. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A62619).
