New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez completed his quest for 600 homers on August 4, 2010 off a 2-0 cutter from Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Shaun Marcum at new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. He hit it on the three-year anniversary of his 500th long ball. Rodriguez was the youngest player in Major League Baseball history to hit 600 home runs, doing so at 35 years, 8 days old. After a 22-year Major League Baseball career, Rodriguez retired with 696 career home runs, fourth all-time behind Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755) and Babe Ruth (714).

Offered is a lot of three game-used items from the August 4, 2010 signed by Rodriguez. The first item in this lot is white plastic Cosby shin guard, with Rodriguez signature in black marker on the right side, and the inscription “Game Worn 600 HR – 8-4-10” on the left side in black marker. The second item in this lot is a navy elastic cloth wristband, on which Rodriguez has inscribed “A Rod 600 HR 8-4-10” in silver marker. The third item in this lot is a navy Benik elbow guard, which has Rodriguez signature in silver marker at the top, and the inscription “Game Worn 600 Homerun 8-4-2010” in silver marker at the bottom. All three items in this lot come with individually signed LOAs from Alex Rodriguez, and 4 x 6-inch color photographs of Rodriguez signing the items.
