Longtime Detroit Tigers superstar Norm Cash has signed this Tigers pullover jersey. A big first baseman, Cash hit all but four of his 377 career home runs with the Tigers, the team he played for from 1960 until his retirement after the 1974 season. Cash’s best season came in 1961 when he finished the year with an MLB-best .361 batting average, 41 homers, and 132 RBI. His understated excellence came to a head in the 1968 World Series, when Cash hit .385 with a homer and five RBI to deliver the Tigers their first World Series title since the days of Newhouser and Trout.
This pullover jersey has “DETROIT” screen printed on the chest in navy and orange lettering. The back is blank, and the sleeve and collar openings are accented with a blue, white, and orange band. Cash has signed the chest of this jersey in bold blue marker, inscribing “Best Wishes” in addition to his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (V11815).
