The Hall of Fame running back OJ Simpson has signed and inscribed this postcard. A collegiate star for the University of Southern California Trojans, Simpson was named the 1968 Heisman Trophy winner before embarking on a successful NFL career with the Buffalo Bills as the first overall pick in the 1969 NFL Draft. Simpson led the NFL in rushing four times, turning in the first-ever 2,000-yard rushing season in only 14 games in 1973. Simpson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. This offered postcard shows an image of a Curtiss Falcon plane on the front, while Simpson has signed the back of the postcard in blue pen. He inscribed “Peace to you” below his signature. This postcard has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83097106).
