The sweet spot is reserved for “Don Larsen 10-8-56”, while “Jim Bunning 6/21/64” appears to the right of Larsen just below the Rawlings logo. To the left of Larsen are “Tom Browning 9/16/88” and “Len Barker 5-15-81”. To the left of the OAL stamp are the signatures of “Mike Witt 9/30/84” and “Jim Catfish Hunter 5-8-68”, while to the right is “Sandy Koufax 9/9/65”. In nearly 150 years of Major League Baseball history, there have been 23 official perfect games. Larsen’s perfect game came in the 1956 World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers, and is the only post-season perfect game in MLB history.
