Coming into the 2019 season, the New York Mets were counting on rookie Pete Alonso to step up and bey a key contributor. No one in the Mets organization could have predicted the offensive outburst provided by Alonso in his debut campaign. Alonzo has already set the Mets’ single-season home run record and is a shoo-in for the NL Rookie of the Year.

This offered Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. stamped baseball was used during the June 20th, 2019 game when the Mets visited the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. This ball was used when Alonso collected his 42nd career hit when he drove a Tyler Chatwood pitch to center field for a single. The ball was then used for three more pitches – a ball, a called strike and then a ground ball double play hit by Robinson Cano. This rubbed down ball displays outstanding game use with dirt stains and other abrasions. This comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JD793103) for the game use, detailing the pitches this ball was used during the June 20th, 2019 game at Wrigley Field.
