Presented is a President Barack Obama golf score card from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, outside Washington, D.C. The colorful 4 x 6-inch tri-fold cardstock scorecard is inscribed in gray graphite pencil on two interior pages, with the 44th President of the United States listed as part of a foursome (“POTUS”) in an 18-hole round in which he shot 88. The card, titled “The Courses at Andrews AFB” across the top, also lists three other players in that day’s round, and is inscribed with a phone number in black pen on the second interior panel. According to Golf Digest, President Obama played 306 rounds while in office, a healthy amount, but well short of the estimated 1,200 rounds Woodrow Wilson played during his term, or the 800 rounds that Dwight Eisenhower played as POTUS. Still, it's more than his immediate predecessors George W. Bush or Bill Clinton, both of whom were avid golfers as well.
