Harold “Red” Grange, the Galloping Ghost, has signed this football record sheet. Grange, a star in college for the University of Illinois, was one of the first great football stars in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Grange scored a touchdown in every college football game he played in but one and was a two-time NFL champion with the Chicago Bears in 1932 and 1933. Grange was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the inaugural 1963 class. He has signed this record sheet in black marker as “’Red’ Grange”, inscribing “’77’” below his signature.
