Offered is a framed and mounted pair of drumsticks signed by Ringo Starr of the Beatles, along with a lithograph portrait of Starr signed by the artist, Bart Forbes.  Starr has signed one 16-inch long white wood drumstick at the handle “Ringo Starr” and inscribed a star to the right of his name in blue marker, and another inscribed “24/500” also in blue marker.  The 8½ x 11-inch lithograph is a portrait of Starr, with dark red sunglasses, long black hair, beard and mustache, in a white shirt with an orange, yellow and green scarf.  Artist Bart Forbes has signed his name at the bottom right of the print in silver marker and inscribed “24/500” in silver marker at the bottom left of the print.  The lithograph print is mounted to the right of the drumsticks; there is a blue border around the portrait, while the drumsticks are mounted on top of the white matte. 

Below the portrait, within a blue-line border, is a gold metal plaque with black letters, inscribed: “Ringo Starr Drum Sticks Personally Autographed by Ringo Starr Limited-edition Lithograph Personally Autographed by Bart Forbes a matched numbered suite to 500 50 artist proofs”. On the back of the frame is a 5½ x 8-inch tan paper “Certificate of Authenticity” with black printing, from Gartlan USA.  Starr is a musician, singer and songwriter who came to worldwide fame as the drummer for the Beatles beginning in 1962 and continuing through 1970. He occasionally sang lead vocals with the group, usually for one song on each album, including "With a Little Help from My Friends", "Yellow Submarine", "Good Night", and their cover of "Act Naturally". He also wrote and sang the Beatles' songs "Don't Pass Me By" and "Octopus's Garden" and is credited as a co-writer of others. The drumsticks come with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A19936).
