Presented is a vintage poster featuring the legendary boxer Rocky Marciano. Arguably one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time, Marciano decimated the heavyweight division during his illustrious, almost decade long career. Known for having a granite chin, and relentless pace, Marciano was mostly known for his incredible knockout power, having finished 43 of his 49 fights by way of Knockout or TKO.
This featured poster features a young Marciano and is titled “ROCKY MARCIANO WORLD’S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION”. This poster is black and white and features several creases and tears along the edges. The poster is however, in excellent viewing condition as the creases do not deter from the actual photo. This piece has been signed by Marciano in blue ink and is inscribed “Best Wishes”. This piece is framed and stands 19 x 14 inches and is a great addition to any boxing collection. This piece has been authenticated by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and comes with a LOA (A04465).
