For a guy who held the single season home run record for decades, Roger Maris' signature is alarmingly scarce. The intensely private man rarely made public appearances and tragically passed away before the sports memorabilia craze of the 1990's. Thus, a cut signature from the home run champ can be tough for a collector to track down. A single-signed ball is all the more rare. This Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball has Maris’ signature signed on the side panel. Maris’s signature and the stampings are light, but still readable. The ball displays minor toning. This comes with a LOA from JSA (Z90130).
