Whether it was Joe Montana or Steve Young, it didn't matter because the 49ers had Jerry Rice catching the passes. In this Super Bowl, Young threw a Super Bowl record six touchdown passes, three to Rice. This ring was presented to former 49er player and (in 1994) front office executive, RC (Alley Oop) Owens, who is a member of the 49ers Ring of Honor. The crest features a bed of real diamonds shaped with five Lombardi trophies (signifying their five Super Bowl victories) in the middle. This is surrounded by raised relief "FORTY NINERS" and the Super Bowl year digits "1 9 9 4" etched in the corners. Each Lombardi trophy has the football and the stand made of real diamonds, with the middle trophy containing the largest diamonds. This ring contains 5.5 karat weight in diamonds! One shank has the name "OWENS" with five Super Bowl trophies set against the Golden Gate Bridge with the name "49ers" with the season record "16-3" below. The other shank has enamel plated emblems of the team, the Super Bowl and 75th Anniversary insignias, with the score "49-26" below. Also, there is a football with the number "5" engraved on it, signifying Mr. Owens was part of the 49ers family for all five Super Bowl victories, and unbelievable feat. A scarce few rings presented to players and team personnel that year have this five designation! Inside this 10 K solid gold gigantic 50.35 gram/size 13 ring is engraved "LGB 10K". This ring is the exact same size and style the players received, was obtained directly from the family of RC Owens, and includes the accompanying paperwork and the original presentation box. This fabulously scarce ring remains minimally in Near Mint condition.
