Shaquille O’Neal wore these size 22 Dunk sneakers circa 2000. O’Neal wore Dunk sneakers for several seasons after his Reebok contract expired in 1998 as O’Neal, Mike Piazza, and DeLisha Milton attempted to market the startup “Dunk.net” as an alternative to Nike, Reebok, Adidas, and the other big shoe companies. O’Neal was the most dominant basketball player in America at the turn of the millennium, leading the NBA in scoring during the 1999-2000 season and taking the Lakers to an NBA title in three straight seasons. These offered Dunk sneakers are white with black accents and “DUNK” embroidered on the tongues. “DUNK” appears to be handwritten in black marker on the outside heel of each shoe. O’Neal has signed this same area in black marker. These shoes come with a LOA from O’Neal’s Laker teammate Tyronn Lue and a LOA from JSA (Z59981). Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
