     The first item in this collection is a Ford C. Frick Official National League baseball signed by the 1948 Boston Braves. There are 25 signatures that include Hall of Famer Billy Southworth, Al Dark, Eddie Stanky, Tommy Holmes, Jeff Heath, Bob Elliott, Glenn Elliot, Phil Masi, Red Barrett, Si Johnson, Connie Ryan, Nels Potter, Johnny Cooney, Sibby Sisti, Jim Russell, Clint Conatser, Pete Reiser, Vern Bickford, Bill Salked, Bobby Hogue, Bob Keely, Bob Hall, Bill Voiselle, and Al Lakeman. The signatures have been written in black pen, with Southford and Glenn Elliott appearing on the sweet spot. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB12611).

     The second is a baseball signed by the 1947 Boston Red Sox. 18 members of the ’47 Sox have signed this ball, including Hall of Famer Ted Williams, Johnny Pesky, Sam Mele, Al Widmar, Wally Moses, Johnny Murphy, Don Gutteridge, Billy Goodman, Joe Dobson, Bill Zuber, Bill Butland, Roy Partee, and Leon Culbers. The signatures of Joe Cronin and Dave Ferriss are clubhouse signatures. The signatures have been written in black pen, with Williams’ signature appearing on the sweet spot. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB12609).

     The third is a William D. White Official National League baseball signed by Ralph Branca and Bobby Thomson. Bobby Thomson hit a game –winning home run off Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Ralph Branca at the Polo Grounds in New York City on October 3rd, 1951 to win the National League Pennant. This moment in baseball history is known to fans as “The Shot Heard Round the World”. Both participants have autographed the sweet spot of this ball in blue pen. Inscribed on the panel to the south of the sweet spot is “10/3/51”. This item comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AC82857).

     Also included is a comic strip featuring Bobby Thompson as well as his business card!
