This lot features a Captain America Authentic Metal Shield. The shield is in the traditional American flag motif. With the single white star at the center surrounded by royal blue making the first segment of the shield, the last three segments follow a pattern of red, white, and red to mimic the red and white stripes of the US flag.

     The shield was signed by Stan Lee the “General of Marvel” himself in black sharpie. The former President of Marvel Comics is legendary for his writing and artistic abilities. Lee served in WWII as a writer for the Army and may have used this to draw inspiration from his experiences during his service to further the series after WWII. This lot comes with a Radtke Sports COA, and Stan Lee hologram.
