Presented is a Ted Williams signature on a limited-edition lithographic print portrait of the former Boston Red Sox outfielder by noted artist Carlo Beninati. Williams has signed his name in the bottom third of the print in blue marker, below the metallic blue and red over gold and light blue image of the “Splendid Splinter” at the plate in his Red Sox uniform, an image of Fenway Park in the background. Beninati has signed his name in the lower right corner of the print in blue pen. This is a limited edition 63/99 as indicated in the lower left corner of the print in blue pen. The image’s title, “Theodore Samuel Williams The Hitter Nonpareil” is in gold type in the lower center of the print and is part of Beninati’s works “Dedicated to Documenting the History of Human Accomplishment.” The 22 x 30-inch litho print is mounted in a tan matte with cherry wood border and is displayed in a 32 x 40-inch cherry wood frame and glass. This item comes with a Ted Williams Hologram and a LOA from JSA.
