Offered is a Ted Williams signature and inscription on a limited-edition canvas giclee artist’s print of Steve Parson’s painting commemorating Williams’s two “Triple Crown” seasons. The Hall of Fame Boston Red Sox leftfielder has signed his name in blue marker in the lower center of the print and inscribed “42 47 T. C.” below his signature. The artist, Steve Parson, has signed his name in blue marker in the lower right corner of the print. Parson’s has painted two images of Williams, with the “Splendid Splinter “in his Boston road uniform at the left and in his home Red Sox uniform at the right. Williams’ figure in both images is on a background of a baseball diamond in blue and white with green grass and yellow-brown dirt inside the diamond. At the top center of the print is the caption “.406 ’42 Triple Crown ‘47” painted in navy-blue, red and white against a painted wood-grain background. At the lower center is William’s number, “9”, painted in red with blue border. The canvas is inscribed “AP 26/42” in black marker in the lower left corner and is displayed in a 33 x 43-inch black wood frame. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (BB14466).
