Presented here is an 8 x 10 inch photograph signed by the Boston Red Sox teammates Bobby Doerr, Ted Williams, Vern Stephens, and Birdie Tebbetts originating from the personal collection of Doerr. This photograph, likely taken during the late 1940’s, shows the four Sox stars wearing their home whites in the locker room, each gripping a tan bat. Williams, Tebbetts, and Stephens have signed this 8 x 10 inch photograph in blue fine-tip marker, while Doerr has signed this photograph in black fine-tip marker. This photograph has been mounted on tan construction paper, but is otherwise in good condition. Additionally, an 8 x 10 inch photograph of Charlie Gehringer signed by “The Mechanical Man” in blue marker is included. The first photograph comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA, while the Gehringer photograph comes with a COAs from JSA (D03485) and PSA/DNA (AE55796). This lot is accompanied by a LOA from the Doerr family.
