The Hall of Fame duo of Ted Williams and Bill Terry have signed the sweet spot of this Official American League Lee MacPhail baseball. Williams and Terry were the last two men to hit over .400, with Terry accomplishing the feat in 1930 by hitting at a .401 clip and Williams famously reaching .406 in 1941. The two Hall of Famers have signed their names in blue ballpoint pen. This baseball originates from the personal collection of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr, a longtime friend and fishing partner of “The Splendid Splinter”. This item has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA, and a LOA from the Doerr family will accompany this baseball.
