Super Bowl LI between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons ended in dramatic fashion, as it is the only Super Bowl to be decided in overtime. The Falcons blew a 25-point lead in the fourth quarter as the Patriots tied the game in the final seconds of play with a two-point conversion after a James White touchdown to send the game into overtime. White would score the winning touchdown on a one-yard run in overtime, and his 14 receptions and 20 points scored would be a record, with Brady’s 43 completed passes, 62 attempts, and 466 passing yards another record that led to Brady earning his fourth Super Bowl MVP award. The victory was the fifth Lombardi Trophy for the Patriots franchise.
