Tom Brady secured his first Super Bowl victory and Super Bowl MVP honors in dramatic fashion during the New England Patriots 20-17 victory over the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVII. With the game tied 17-17 with a 1:30 remaining, Brady orchestrated a downfield march that culminated with an Adam Vinatieri 48-yard field goal as time expired to give the Patriots their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history.
Presented here is a gold full ticket from Super Bowl XXXVII. The 2 ½ x 6 5/8-inch ticket is gold and features a hologram of the Lombardi trophy and an American flag on a football field. The top portion of the ticket is labeled “TERRACE”, with the seating information “GATE G SECTION 551 ROW 04 SEAT 07.” The midsection of the ticket is labeled “AFC-NFC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAME SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2002 5:00 P.M. LOUISIANA SUPERDOME, NEW ORLEANS”. The price of the ticket was $400 and is featured between an NFL logo shield and Super Bowl XXXVI logo. The reverse side of the ticket features a layout and seating chart of the stadium and the terms of the ticket. The bottom portion of the ticket contains the seating information, and Brady signed the ticket with a black marker on the bottom portion of the ticket. The ticket comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (43283456) and is graded Auto 10.
