Tupac Shakur owned this stunning diamond and sapphire medallion during his all-too-brief time as a global superstar. The young rapper and actor was an outsized influence on hip-hop culture, paving the way for generations of rappers to come. This medallion features an oblong diamond shape at the center inset with 28 small diamonds. A large jump ring, inset with 13 diamonds, is attached to the top of the piece to provide an anchor for a thick chain. The diamond shape is bordered by a gold rectangle, which is inset with over 50 sapphires. This medallion measures roughly 1 ½ x 2 inches. It is a tremendous artifact from the career of one of America’s greatest musical artists. This medallion comes with a Letter of Provenance from a close friend and associate of Shakur.
